Gut Healing
A healthy gut is the foundation to our overall health and wellbeing. Not only is it responsible for proper digestion and the absorption of vital nutrients to nourish our body, but it also plays a significant role for our immune system, nervous system, mental health and more.
When the gut microbiome becomes imbalanced, an overgrowth of unhealthy bacteria, fungi, and/or parasites may be at play, and intestinal permeability can become compromised. This can lead to symptoms such as chronic fatigue, unexplained joint pain, digestive issues, bloating, skin rashes, brain fog, food sensitives and even autoimmune diseases.
As a Holistic Nutritionist and someone who has personally reversed Hashimoto’s thyroiditis for myself, I have experience on how to get to the root cause of these issues and work to restore balance and healing within the gut. I work one-on-one with individuals motivated to take an active role in their healing. Through our work together, I will guide you on how to remove the foods contributing to the imbalance, restore balance within the gut, repair the gut lining, rebuild the gut flora, reintroduce foods with intention and return to a revitalized state. This is typically a 12-week commitment and the hard work pays off.
