Cultivating Connections: A retreat to connect body, mind and soul
Join Willow Conolly, and Natalie Davidson, as we journey to the middle of the world, Otavalo, Ecuador! We will spend 7 days and 6 nights at the charming Casa Latitude, located in the heart of the Andes. This location serves as the perfect backdrop for us to disconnect from our daily routines and reconnect to the present moment. Sometimes it’s taking a pause from our day to day life that allows us to deepen our connection to what is most important.
Our intention for this retreat is all about cultivating connections. We will be immersing ourselves with yoga, meditation, nature, local community, traditions, culture, and foods native to the land, as a way to reconnect to our body, mind and soul. With a blend of adventure and free time to yourself, we hope you will feel well balanced and fully connected, upon your arrival home.
April 19th - 25th, 2018
Located in the majestic Andean highlands, Otavalo is surrounded by high volcanos and hidden lakes. Known for its friendly people and famous Market, Otavalo offers a rich blend of culture, traditions, ethnic diversity, indigenous arts and beautiful surrounding landscapes.
Casa Latitude, will be the site of our home away from home for the week. Conveniently located just blocks away from the world famous Plaza de Ponchos artisan market, this serene, ecological setting is centrally located to volcanic lakes and cultural experiences.
Almost all meals will be enjoyed onsite, at Casa Latitude. The food served in the restaurant is top notch and prepared by a local chef. You will be able to choose from a varied, delicious menu, and have the option of vegetarian or meat offerings.
In addition to yoga asana morning and evening, and morning meditation, we will be connecting to the beautiful land and culture, visiting some unique sites. Highlights include:
We will also be offering a couple of workshops and discussions, while providing you with a balance of free time. Please know that all classes and activities are optional, so you can have the experience that you most desire.
A beautiful exchange for connecting to a new land, culture and community, is having the opportunity to give back. Seva is the Sanskrit word for selfless service. Such services are preformed to benefit a community or individuals living within that community. We will have the opportunity to practice seva while on this retreat. More details to come.
